Shane Larkin won the Liga Endesa MVP of the Week honor for the first time in his career after registering 31 PIR (more than any other player out of victorious teams) in the win of Baskonia vs Andorra away from home.
The 24-year-old play maker spent 28 minutes on the floor which were more than enough for him to drop 21 points, (shooting 4/8 from the perimeter, 2/5 two-pointers and 5/7 from the free throw line), dish out 9 assists to his teammates, grab 4 rebounds and steal the ball twice.
Overall, his offensive contribution resulted to 40 points out of the 91 Baskonia scored against the 82 of Andorra. He was quite the trouble-maker for the opposing defense, also drawing 5 fouls.
Thanks to his performance, the Basques climbed to the fifth place of the standings with a 13 – 6 record.
