Baskonia took own Zaragoza on the road and prevailed 88-99.
The big leader for the winners was, of course, Shane Larkin, who scored 30 points and handed out 6 assists. Andrea Bargnani added 18, Chase Budinger scored 15, while Adam Hanga and Johannes Voigtmann shared 14 points each.
For Gran Canaria, Robin Benzing stood out with 19 points.
Early on, the hosts led with a double score of 14-7, yet Voigtmann and Budinger placed Baskonia ahead 18-23 after 10 minutes. Hanga expanded the visitors’ lead to 32-42 and at halftime they were up 39-44.
With less than two minutes in the game, baskonia sealed the win by grabbing a 10-point lead, 84-94.
Earlier in the day, Barcelona fell to Estudiantes, while Gran Canaria shocked Real in Madrid.
