Manresa got the upset over Baskonia

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

With the duo of Pere Tomas and Llouis Costa scoring 14 points and leading a balanced effort, Manresa got the 87-82 win much easier than the final score suggests.

The hosts led even by 77-60 at the last quarter with four minutes left on the clock and Baskonia tried to make a comeback but it was too late. The guests missed for one more game Andrea Bargnani, however this is not an excuse. The fact remains that for most of the game they were outplayed and maybe they underestimated their opponents. Most of Baskonia key players had a bad game with Toko Shengeile being the top scorer with just 12 points and Shane Larkin scoring just 6 points, making one out of 10 field goals.

Still Baskonia remains for the momemt third in the standings with a 16-7 record, while Manresa remains on the bottom with a 4-19 record.
