Eurohoops chatted with Thanassis Antetokounmpo of Andorra and the Greek forward shared his views on the Spanish league.
In Andorra, he’s often called to defend tough opponents: “Have you seen Llull’s shooting? No matter if I follow him around, if he rises to his one leg and throws the ball, it’s nothing but net, no matter how good my defense might be! He’s incredible in open court situations and he can only be stopped with a foul.”
“Edwin Jackson is also unstoppable. Probably falls into the same category as Llull. Campazzo as well”, Antetokounmpo says.
The Andorra player also pointed the variety of players in ACB: “I see these examples and I’m blessed to be playing in this championship. In here, every team has great players, especially in the small forward position. Even the lower budget teams! This doesn’t happen in any other championship in Europe.”
