This result created a three-way tie in the Spanish League standings with fourth Unicaja Malaga, fifth Tenerife and now sixth Barcelona standing at a 21 – 10 record.
Even though the visiting squad held a lead for the majority of the second half, the match was up for grabs in the final minutes.
