Valencia beat Baskonia with 75-69 in their third semifinals game and has regained the upper hand in the series.
Antoine Diot and Fernando San Emeterio led the winners, scoring 16 and 15 points each.
Valencia stepped into the game energetically, enforced by the warm atmosphere its fans created, and managed to lead the first quarter 23-14. The setting changed in the second one, when the visiting team started getting short advantages and eventually led at halftime with 34-37.
The answer by the hosts came quickly in the second half, as a three-pointer by San Emeterio gave them a 12-point head, 55-42 (27′). One more long distance shot by Martinez sent Valencia to the final period at 61-53.
