Real Betis officially announced the addition of American forward Blake Schilb for the 2017-2018 season.
Schilb, 33, carries a Czech passport thus he won’t occupy a foreign player’s spot in the team’s roster. He averaged 9.3 points, 4 assists and 3.9 rebounds in last season’s EuroLeague with Galatasaray.
Throughout his career, spent entirely on European soil, Schilb has played for Nymburk, Elan Chalon, Crvena Zvezda, Paris Levallois and Galatasaray with which he played during the two previous seasons.
With the Turkish club, Schilb won the 2016 EuroCup trophy.
