A fiery fourth-quarter output (23-13) did the trick for Valencia that beat Obradoiro 80 – 67 to make the 2/2 in the Spanish League.
Once more, Erick Green was the offensive go-to-guy for the Taronja, finishing with 19 points plus 4 assists. He received valuable assistance from Sam Van Rossom (13 points, 4 assists) plus Bojan Dubljeic and captain Rafa Martinez who scored 11 points apiece.
Obradoiro was greatly competitive for the first three periods but ran out of juice near the end and didn’t manage to keep up with its opponents. Artem Pustovyi had 14 points and Matt Thomas 13.
