Valencia Basket grabbed a 102-81 victory over Joventut at home, on Day 14 of the Spanish League.
With this victory, Valencia improves to a 10-3 record, while the opposing side sinks to 4-9.
After a fast-paced first quarter, the hosts grabbed a 34-22 lead at 10′, yet things slowed down significantly in the second period. At halftime, Valencia was still in charge with 47-37.
The momentum did not change much in the second half, as the hosts kept their double-digit leads throughout the game, challenging Joventut. After 30 minutes, the lead was unapproachable and the hosts stayed up by 20 points (75-55).
Rafa Martinez paced the winning side with 19 points and 7 assists, Aaron Doornekamp followed with 15 points.
