Bilbao Basket prevailed over Unicaja Malaga at home with 70-67.
After an early 21-17 lead of Bilbao, Unicaja took charge and led with 35-30 at halftime. Despite the visitors’ advantage, things got tough in the final period, as Bilbao trimmed the deficit to 5 points at 33′ (51-56).
Still, in the crucial moments of the game, Giorgi Shermadini came in with an important breather for Unicaja (62-58), yet the answer was quick by Lucio Ledivo’s three-pointer that heated things up once again!
Jeff Brooks tied the score to 66 points, yet the final call was on Bilbao’s hands, with Alex Mumbru sealing the victory.
Earlier in the day, Valencia smashed Joventut.
