Real Madrid didn’t put the blame on the refs.

Barcelona won the Spanish Cup in a controversial ending. Real Madrid was trailing by two when Fabien Causeur tried to win the game. Jeff Taylor grabbed the offensive rebound and Victor Claver committed a foul in that last play… but there was no whistle.

In spite of the clear foul, Madrid is not putting the blame on the ref, as head coach Pablo Laso showed: “It is not a day to talk about these things. You will watch the play and you will judge. I believe that today is a day to congratulate Barcelona for its victory. Surely you have watched it and you have your opinion“.

Also, Argentinian international Facundo Campazzo gave his view about the last play: “We don’t think on that. If it was foul if it wasn’t… We are going to be self-critical with our game, not with arbitration decisions. Beyond the last ball, we were bad in many aspects“.

“We played against Baskonia, the best team of the moment in Spain, we played against Gran Canarias at home, we played against Real Madrid, we just did not play against Golden State“, Barca coach Svetislav Pesic said while celebrating in the locker room.
