Playing without Toko Shengelia and Jason Granger, Baskonia got the road win over Juventut Badalona in Liga Endesa.

Coach Pedro Martinez wanted to rest his two stars before the crucial EuroLeague game against Zalgiris Kaunas. That gave to the hosts the chance to stay in the game until the third period. However, Baskonia prevailed in end with 75-61.

Johannes Voigtmann with 16 points and 14 rebounds was by far the best player on the court and Janis Timma added 13 points for the winning side. The most noteworthy thing from Badalona is that 17 years old Latvian guard Arturs Zagars made his pro debut in this game.

Baskonia has now a 15-7 record, good enough for the second spot on the standings, while Badalona remains last with a 4-18 record.
