Baskonia extended its winning streak in the Spanish league to 10 (!) victories in a row, by beating Andorra 88 – 75 at home.
The Basques were trailing 34 – 40 at halftime but dominated after the break, outplaying their opponets 28 – 18 in the third quarter and then further establishing their hold with a 26 – 17 partial score in the fourth period.
Ilmane Diop notched a game-high 24 in PIR after scoring 14 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. Rodrigue Beaubois had 13 points and Lucas Vildoza 12 for the winning squad.
Jaka Blazic dropped a game-high 18 points for Andorra that dropped sixth with 15 – 10 after this loss. Baskonia remains second with a 18 – 7 record.
