Valencia has reached an agreement with Istanbul Buyuksehir forward/center Ivan Buva to join the team for the remainder of the season, according to La Provincia.
The Croatian player is expected to arrive in Spain today (3/5) in order to become available to the team immediately. Although Buva played with Bilbao last year, there are is no “Tanteo” binding him to the Basques, since he activated a related clause in his contract last summer to fully own his ACB rights.
Buva, 26, has been one of the top performers this season in the Turkish League, averaging 18 points and six rebounds per game with Buyuksehir.
Valencia was also considering Crvena Zvezda center Mathias Lessort but his case was dismissed due to the high buyout that the Serbian club requested.
