Sito Alonso spent the week in the ‘4 quarters’ program of Onda Cero to talk about Barcelona and more.
When asked about his feelings when watching FC Barcelona Lassa win the Cup, he did not hide his emotions: “Seven days had passed from when I left Barcelona. You cannot feel good. You would have liked to win it too. I will not say that I enjoyed it because I would lie, but I did analyze the reasons for this victory.”
Besides, he also commented about the Barcelona players and the relationship he had with them: “The relationship with the players was not bad. I have almost never had a bad relationship with a player. Maybe once or twice in my whole career.”
During the interview, the former coach of Barcelona revealed that he watched Game 3 of the Real Madrid – Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens series for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. “Sergio LLull was one of the protagonists. Especially how he entered the court in Game 3. He makes decisions that no one else dares to take, after missing eight months with an unfortunate injury.”
Finally, he also commented on Real Madrid‘s head coach, Pablo Lasso. “He is a protagonist. He is capable of many things. He put a player in such an important playoff series, playoff game and manage when to sub him in and out of the game.”
