Barcelona officially announced the signing of American forward/center Jalen Reynolds with a contract for the remainder of the season.
Reynolds, 25, completed the season in Italy with Reggio Emilia, averaging 10.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per 22 minutes in Lega A and 10.5 points plus 7.5 rebounds over 23 minutes per game in EuroCup. In the latter competition, the team reached the semifinals for the first time in the history of the club with the former Xavier player winning weekly MVP honors twice in the season.
With Barcelona, Reynolds will make his debut in the Spanish ACB League. He arrived in the team to replace injured center Kevin Seraphin.
