Baskonia swingman Matt Janning set a new unique record in the history of the ACB Finals with the 6/6 3-pointers he made in Game 2 of the title series against Real Madrid.

These six triples are the most that any player has ever recorded without a miss in the Spanish League Finals. With this achievement, Janning surpassed Nacho Solozabal, Chicho Sibilio and Miroslav Beric who were the previous record holders, having made 4/4 3-pointers in the Finals each, per information courtesy of ACB.

Who’s the player that holds the record for the most 3-pointers made in a Spanish League title series? None other than legendary Drazen Petrovic thanks to the 8/11 downtown buckets he had dropped as a player of Real Madrid in the 1989 title series against Barcelona, during his last performances in Europe before joining the NBA with the Portland Trail Blazers

Janning is widely considered among the most potent sharpshooters in Europe. Following his latest 3-point feat, the 29-year-old American player has now made 92 of his 202 attempts from beyond the arc this season in ACB for an impressive 46%.

Real Madrid and Baskonia are tied 1-1 in the best-of-five series. Games 3 and 4 will take place in Vitoria, home of Baskonia.
