Sergio Llull scored 17 points and dished out six assists in 19 minutes, as Real Madrid defeated Obradoiro 81 – 61 to advance in the ACB Supercup Final. The “Blancos’ will face Baskonia, that beat Barcelona in the first semifinal, for the first title of the season in Spain.
Real’s win came even easier than what the final score shows. Following a highly dominant third quarter (22 – 8) the reigning EuroLeague and ACB champions got a 30-point lead, 72 – 42, two minutes into the fourth period. Obradoiro just managed to cut that margin a bit in the remaining time.
Anthony Randolph added 12 point plus five rebounds in 19 minutes for Real. Newcomer Gabriel Deck scored 10 in 18 minutes.
For Obradoiro, Kostas Vasileiadis scored 15 points and Andrew Sabat 12.
