Barcelona kickstarted the new ACB season in Palau Blaugrana with a 98-78 victory over Gran Canaria.
The hosts kept a huge margin at halftime (49-32), and despite a comeback from their visitors in the second half, they held on to the victory in the end.
Ante Tomic was once again dominant in the paint and finished the game with 21 points and six boards, followed by Thomas Heurtel’s double-double of 13 points and 11 assists.
Eulis Baez scored 16 points for the Canaria side, while Chris Evas added 14.
