Tim Abromaitis posted 20 points, four rebounds and four steals for 29 PIR as Iberostar Tenerife beat Gran Canaria 91 – 77 on the road for Round 8 of the Spanish ACB League regular season.
This result places Tenerife at 5-3 and the fifth spot in the standings while Gran Canaria has now fallen second to last with a 2-8 record.
Tenerife had a 0-10 run that extended from the end of the third period to the beginning of the fourth to take a 60- 73 lead. The visiting squad proceeded to retain control until the sound of the final buzzer.
Colton Iverson added 15 points and eight boards for Tenerife while DJ Strawberry scored a game-high 16 for Gran Canaria.
