Marcelinho Huertas turned back the clock and scored 24 points, Toko Shengelia added 19 and Baskonia managed to get the 81-74 road win against Monbus Obradoiro thanks to a big last quarter.
The game was close from wire to wire, the hosts were leading by four (60-56) at the start of the last period, but couldn’t do much more. Darrun Hilliard tied the score at 64 and after a 13-0 Baskonia had a 73-64 lead.
The players of coach Velimir Perasovic never looked back after that. Kostas Vasileiadis with 15 points was the top scorer of Obradoiro which now has a 3-7 record, while Baskonia with 8-2 wins has a record good enough for the second spot of the Spanish Liga Endesa standings.
