Obradoiro swingman Kostas Vasileiadis came two 3-pointers away from tying the all-time ACB record for most triples in a single game, leading Obradoiro to a 86 – 78 win over Zaragoza on the road.
Vasileiadis scored 33 points with 10/18 from beyond the arc in 28:21 minutes, getting quite close to matching Jacob Pullen’s ACB-best of 12 3-pointers. The latter set the record back in 2014 when he was playing with Barcelona.
Thanks to Vasileiadis’ performance plus Kyle Singler’s 21 points and eight rebounds, Obradoiro got a win that improved them to 4-7. Zaragoza (Stan Okoye 20 points, eight rebounds) dropped to 6-5.
