Pau and Marc Gasol will launch the Basket4All solidarity initiative to help equip youth (6-13) basketball teams that operated on a limited budget, per Practico Deporte.
Via the “Gasol Foundation,” the Gasol brothers will provide 300 basketball teams with sports equipment by Nike plus lessons on living with healthy habits.
“With these scholarships, we will provide equipment to those teams that have a very limited budget, so that they can enjoy basketball as I did as a child,” Marc Gasol said.
The Gasol Foundation will pick 300 teams for this scholarship aid. Out of all teams that will apply, priority will be given to teams of clubs that have both male and female squads.
“We want the teams that are selected to participate in Basket4All to receive training in healthy habits to optimize their development and performance,” Pau Gasol said.
