Kevin Seraphin posted a double-double of 18 points plus 11 rebounds for a game-high 30 PIR, as Barcelona beat Obradoiro 79 – 73 at home for Round 14 of the Spanish ACB League.
This win improved Barcelona to 12 – 2 and secured them a spot in the Copa Del Rey tournament. Obradoiro, that was minus swingman Kostas Vasileiadis, dropped to 5-9.
Andreas Obst scored 20 points for Obradoiro that tried to come back from an 11-point deficit with 2:32 remaining by making it a five-point game with one minute left, but didn’t get any closer.
Seraphin scored a bucket and then Pau Ribas with Kevin Pangos added pairs of free throws that kept their team at a safe distance.
Ribas had 11 points, same as Thomas Heurtel who also added four assists. Pangos scored nine.
