Iberostar Tenerife beat Barcelona 63 – 57 at home to improve to 12 – 7 and climb closer to the Top 4 of the ACB standings.
The 57 points constitute a season-low for Barcelona that was without Thomas Heurtel. The Blaugrana’s poorest offensive performance this campaign arrived two days following an away triumph over Olympiacos in EuroLeague.
Despite the loss, Barcelona (16-3) remains the standings leader, regardless of what’ll happen in Sunday’s games.
Tom Abromaitis scored 20 points for Tenerife while Colton Iverson had 10 points and eight rebounds. Kevin Pangos had 12 points while Adam Hanga notched 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
