Women’s basketball is often overlooked, though in some leagues its recognition is widely spread, and that’s also the case in Spain.
13,472 people were in attendance in WiZink Center this Sunday as Estudiantes played against Magec Tias in the Spanish Women’s League, setting a new record in a nearly full house.

The arena that also hosts ACB and EuroLeague games of Real Madrid and Estudiantes has a capacity of nearly 15,000 seats, not far from the attendance of said game. An impressive number for Women’s Basketball, and a great way of celebrating Women’s Day even a couple of days later!
