Barcelona bounced back from the EuroLeague loss to Fenerbahce Beko by beating Estudiantes 90- 76 and remain the sole holder of the top spot in the Spanish ACB League standings.
The Blaugrana relied on a particularly potent 34 – 20 third period to set the foundations for its win. Estudiantes was up 36 – 39 at halftime but couldn’t keep up with its opponents after the break.
Ante Tomic (18 points, six rebounds) and Kyle Kuric (15 points) stood out for Barcelona. From the losing side, Gian Clavell scored 18 and Nando Gentile 16 in 19 minutes before getting ejected with two technical fouls in the fourth period.
ACB powerhouses faced no particular problems in Round 23 games. Real Madrid crushed Manresa while Baskonia downed Iberostar Tenerife.
