Movistar Estudiantes’ Alessandro Gentile suffered a concussion in the right shoulder and right superciliary arch (region around eyebrow) due to the nasty fall in the game against UCAM Murcia on Sunday (24/3), the club announced.
While Gentile’s head injury doesn’t need further attention, the shoulder was subjected to various diagnostic tests and will be evaluated by shoulder specialists to determine the extent of the injury and the most appropriate treatment.
Until the injury is fully diagnosed, Gentile will be out of action indefinitely.
