Spanish side Estudiantes saw Alessandro Gentile going down with a shoulder injury and will have to keep up its ACB playoffs chase without him for at least six weeks.
Hence, the club started looking for his replacement and contacted PAOK’s Linos Chrysikopoulos. Despite the offer, the 26-year-old forward chose to remain in PAOK, as the latter informed Estudiantes.
Gentile’s absence comes at a crucial point for the Spanish side that will have to look for his replacement elsewhere in order to improve its chances in the Spanish league (they currently rank 13th with a 9-15 record).
