Tenyconta Zaragoza notched a crucial home win versus Unicaja Malaga on Sunday behind Stan Okoye’s impressive performance. The 27-year-old swingman paved the way in a 20-9 run that led the hosts to their 72-70 win. His 32 PIR got him the ACB Regular Season Round 25 MVP honors, his second MVP of the Week award during his career in the Spanish League.

Okoye finished with 30 points including the game-winning three-pointer. He made 5/8 inside the rainbow and 6/10 from three-point range. “This is my second MVP. I want to thank my teammates, without them the win wouldn’t be possible. They searched for me in positions I feel very comfortable when they needed me” he mentioned to ACB.

On his part, Moussa Diagne was named ACB MVP for March despite missing MoraBanc Andorra’s last game of the month due to illness. The 25-year-old Senegalese big averaged 20.5 PIR and 13.7 points per contest leading his team to a couple of wins in the four games he played.
