Baskonia got the 84-72 win at Barcelona’s home, just two days after the defeat of the Catalans by Anadolu Efes in Game 5 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague playoffs.

Behind 18 points by Toko Shengelia and Savon Shields and with Darrun Hilliard adding 15, the guests prevailed on the delayed game from the 28th round. Thanks to the final point difference Baskonia also got the tie-breaker over Barcelona and now things are getting tricky on the top of Liga Endesa’s standings.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are tied at 23-6, followed by Baskonia at 22-7. For the moment, Barcelona remains on top of the standings, having the tie breaker over Real Madrid, still there’s no room for mistakes for anyone.

Adam Hanga with 19 points and Pierre Oriola with 13 were the top scorers of Barcelona which played without injured Ante Tomic. Baskonia is still missing injured Matt Janning.
