Carrying a double-digit lead most of the way, FC Barcelona Lassa took down Delteco GBC, 88-71. The early Sunday ACB Regular Season Round 33 contest saw all eleven players of the winning side that got on the court score at least one bucket in their next-to-last game before the Playoffs.
Thomas Heurtel led the way with 22 points and Rolands Smits poured 12 with 4/5 from the field including three triples. Adam Hanga finished with 11 points and Kyle Kuric with ten. Georgian Beka Burjanadze scored a team-high 16 points points for the losing side.
Svetislav Pesic’s team improved to 26-7 to get half a win behind Real Madrid and half a win ahead of KIROLBET Baskonia. The visitors dropped to 10-23 and will have to beat Real at home next Sunday to have any chance on avoiding relegation.
The result saved UCAM Murcia from relegation. Movistar Estudiantes accomplished the same securing a spot in the 2019-20 ACB season with an 83-80 home victory against Monbus Obradoiro. Alessandro Gentile took over the match and dropped 27 points with 10/13 inside the rainbow.
