Barcelona Lassa managed to beat Tecnyconta Zaragoza in Game 2 of the Spanish League semifinals but they had a slow start and Svetislav Pesic wasn’t happy at all with his players:
“With this defense, you can’t win, not the Liga Endesa but the LEB Oro [second division]. I’m very disappointed with how we played tonight. Although we shot 73 percent, we lost the first half by four points. All because the attitude was at the limit of a catastrophe. For the first time this season I didn’t understand my players”, the coach said after the game, per Mundo Deportivo.
He did add though that they improved after the halftime talk: “The reaction in the second half was positive but next time if we don’t play as we did in the second twenty minutes it will be difficult to win the game.”
Barcelona leads 2-0 in the series and will have a chance to finish the sweep on Tuesday, June 11, but Zaragoza will have the home court advantage this time around.
