Real Madrid logged a 74-68 road win over Barcelona Lassa in Game 4 of the Finals, ending the series 3-1 and grabbing their second straight Spanish League title – 35th overall. It’s also coach Pablo Laso’s fifth Spanish League trophy in eight years.
Facundo Campazzo won the MVP award and led the victors with 15 points, nine boards and six assists. Rudy Fernandez followed with 12 points.
Walter Tavares logged a double-double with ten points and 13 boards. For Barcelona, Kevin Pangos scored 16 in addition to Chris Singleton’s 12 and Adam Hanga’s 11 points.
Real Madrid was ahead 22-21 after ten minutes and 37-33 at halftime. There were a lot of ups and downs during the second half but Real didn’t let go of the lead at any moment and finished strong (67-55) to secure the win. Neither team had a great shooting night but the guests’ paint control turned out to be crucial in this game (46-30 in rebounds).
