UCAM Murcia signed forward Dusan Sakota to a one-year deal according to Eurohoops sources. Sakota officially parted ways with AEK Athens Friday (26/7).
Morabanc Andorra was also targetting Sakota who ultimately decided to join Murcia. The 33-year-old player will compete in Spain for the first time in his career.
In 2018-2019, Sakota averaged 11.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 24.8 minutes in the Basketball Champions League.
Sakota has won the EuroLeague titles of 2007 and 2009 with Panathinaikos plus the 2018 Basketball Champions League as the captain of AEK.
