Monbus Obradoiro made a big comeback but Real Madrid managed to grab an 83-76 road win with a late surge.
The victors remained the only team in the Spanish League with a perfect record (5-0) while Obradoiro stayed at one win (1-4).
The Argentinian backcourt duo of Facundo Campazzo and Nico Laprovittola led the way with 14 points each while Sergio Llull added nine. Usman Garuba scored only three points but also grabbed 13 rebounds.
For Obradoiro, Dejan Kravic scored game-high 19 points followed by Mike Daum with 15 and Vladimir Brodziansky with ten points.
Obradoiro was ahead 23-19 after ten minutes but Real Madrid went on the halftime rest with a 44-37 lead and improved it to 65-52 in the third quarter.
The hosts managed to bounce back and take a 73-70 lead but the reigning champs responded with a 13-3 run to come out victorious.
