With the score tied to 89 points and less than 15 seconds to go, Gabriel Deck entered the court and with his final shot, he executed Baskonia and handed Real Madrid a 91-89 victory on the road. Pablo Laso’s squad still remains perfect in the Spanish league after six rounds.
Anthony Randolph led Real’s efforts with 22 points and four rebounds, Sergio Llull posted 15 points, while Usman Garuba posted 12 points and six boards.
Baskonia now sinks to a 3-4 record despite the efforts of Tornike Shengelia, who once again paced his team with 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
