Zeljko Obradovic is the most decorated coach in the history of European basketball, having won pretty much everything there is to win. And now, he has a beer named after him.
In Obradovic’s hometown city of Cacak, there is a cafe named “Zoc cafe” that also serves a beer named, well, “Zoc” as well. And the inspiration is none other than the Serbian coach of Fenerbahce Beko.
“Zeljko has always known how to help his old friends. He’s won more than 40 titles over Europe and the world and we are linked by a sincere friendship from youth. So, this beer is in his honor and for the visitors of “Zoc kafe” to enjoy,” cafe owner Aleksandar Denic said to RINA, per Sportska Centrala.
The owner of the cafe is planning to sell the beer in Greece as well. Obradovic has a massive fanbase in the country since his days with Panathinaikos which he coached from 1999 to 2012, leading them to five EuroLeague and numerous domestic titles.
