Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most recognizable players in the NBA right now, but he has never forgotten his roots. He and his brother, Thanasis, are making a name for themselves in the USA, yet they always hold dear in their hearts the places they grew up both as athletes and persons.
Although they just landed in Athens this noon, and despite the jet-lag, Giannis and Thanasis, visited the gym of their old team, Filathlitikos in Zografou, in order to watch the local division game against Kronos St. Dimitrios.
The small gym was packed with many young, and not only, fans who wanted to take pictures with them. The two brothers also signed many autographs while they also talked with many old friends from their days in Filathlitikos.
On the 23th of April, Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo will begin the, co-organized by Eurohoops, “StreetBall Event 2016 Antetokoubros” tour from the city of Heraklion Crete.
