On Sunday morning, the players, coaches and management members of Barcelona paid a special visit to center for Syrian refugees in Athens, Greece. This took place one day after the “Diamonds Are Forever” tournament, in which the Catalans participated.
The team was welcomed in the compound with the club’s anthem being played on the background and people cheering “Barca – Barca”. The “Blaugrana” players then interacted with the excited children, presenting them with gifts (two signed basketballs) and took photos with everyone who asked them.
