After the announcement of the referees that will officiate Monday’s (30/1) Greek league derby between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos, the “Greens” owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos made comment about them, and not only, on social media.
Apart from commenting on one of the referees of this upcoming match (Tasos Piloidis) via his purportedly personal Instagram profile, Giannakopoulos also included EuroLeague official Luigi Lamonica.
“Piloidis, Lamonica lead “thrinos” to glory… it’s worth making videos from everything pretty that happened last year and the year before by Piloidis…,” was the comment.
The word “thrinos” means “lament” in Greek and is used a derogatory play of words with “thrylos” which means “legend”, a term commonly used by Olympiacos fans to call their favorite team.
