Enes Kanter is going through tough times the past few weeks and as of lately, the Turkish government had arrested his father, Mehmet.
According to reports, Mehmet Kanter was released this week, after he was arrested in his home last Friday.
Mehmet Kanter publicly disowned his son last summer because of his political views, though the Oklahoma City Thunder player admitted that was just make-believe, in order for his parents to stay safe in Turkey, where both of them still live at.
