Later on, he spoke to Greek State TV about his friend Nick Galis:
“It wasn’t easy playing against Nick Galis. But on the other hand, I have huge respect for him. He was so talented and played this way. Things weren’t the way they are now back then. Now you score 30 points every six games and people go like “wow”. Back then, Nick had the best defender of every team against him and easily scored 35-40 points. I admire him, and many other Greek players, like my friend Panagiotis Giannakis. We are like family and when we meet we reminiscent of the past and laugh”.
