Niels Giffey and Marcus Eriksson stepped up for ALBA Berlin with 17 and 16 points each, to lead their team to a 96-71 victory over Gottingen at home for Round 19 of the German easycredit BBL.
ALBA bounced back in the German League standings after a tough defeat against Real Madrid in EuroLeague on Friday and improved to a 12-4 record.
Bayern edged Giessen 46ers 94-75 at home paced by Nihad Djedovic to remain on top of the standings with a 17-1 record, followed by MHP Riesen (14-4).
