ALBA Berlin continues its undefeated streak in the German League final tournament and downed RASTA Vechta 102-72 in Game 3 with Peyton Siva leading the way for Aito Garcia Reneses’ team with 16 points and 7 assists.
ALBA used a 26-13 run in the first period to get in charge of the game, with Siva and Landry Nnoko (14 points, 8 rebounds) leading the way, while they expanded their lead to 58-31 at halftime. The deficit kept rising in the second half, as Vechta tried to bounce back into the game. with an 18-11 run early in the fourth period. However, Trevis Simpson’s 21-point performance wasn’t enough to give the team its first win in the tournament, as they now sit at the bottom of Group B.
Rokas Giedraitis also played a key role for the winning side in the second half, exiting the court with 15 points, three rebounds and two assists, as Niels Gieffey also finished in double digits with 11 points.
