ALBA Berlin extended its winning streak in the German League with a 99-85 victory over s.Oliver Wurzburg at home to improve to a 10-1 record.
Simone Fontecchio and Luka Sikma led Aito Garcia Reneses’ squad with 16 points each, Johannes Thiemann added 14 points and Peyton Siva exited the court with 13. Jonas Weitzel paced Wurzburg’s efforts with a game-high of 20 points.
Earlier this weekend, Wade Baldwin tapped 17 points to lead Bayern to a 98-78 win against Bayreuth on the road. Andrea Trinchieri’s squad moves up to a 10-2 record and expanded its streak to three games in the BBL.
On the other end of the court, Osvaldas Olisevičius and Frank Bartley tapped 18 points each for Bayreuth.
