Despite JaJuan Johnson forcing the overtime for Bayern Munich, the squad didn’t use its second chance and it was the Crailsheim Merlins that logged a 105-103 win in the end.
Trae Bell-Haynes was the hero of the night for the Merlins with his 31 points as well as the game-winning two-pointer in the final seconds. He also dished 11 assists for a double-double.
Maurice Stuckey added 18 and Bogdan Radosavljevic 16 points. For Bayern, DJ Seeley scored 29 and Nick Weiler-Babb 24 points. Wade Baldwin wasn’t on the roster and neither was Paul Zipser.
Crailsheim continued with a great season, improving to 13-2 while Bayern now holds a 10-3 record. Meanwhile, Alba Berlin got its 11th win this season with 86-70 against Rasta Vechta.
Luke Sikma led the way with 16 points and nine rebounds while Ben Lammers scored 14 and Marcus Eriksson 13 points.
On the other side, Jordan Barnett scored 15 while Dennis Clifford logged ten points and 11 rebounds.
