Nick Weiler-Babb is on the rise and he proved so with one more performance, this time with a 93-78 win over Vechta on the road in Round 22 of the German BBL.
Weiler-Babb had 28 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 29 minutes to lead all scorers of Andrea Trinchieri’s squad to their second straight victory in the league. JaJuan Johnson followed with 17 points and Vladimir Lucic had 12 for Bayern.
Edgar Sosa led the hosts with 24 points and Will Vorhees posted 12 points.
Also on Sunday, ALBA Berlin held on to edge Ulm for its own second straight win (84-76), as Maodo Lo led the way with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Dylan Osetkowski flirted with double-digit figures for Ulm, as he had 14 points and 9 rebounds.
