ALBA Berlin struggled but defeated Bonn on the road 80-75 to move on with its second straight win in the German BBL.
Luke Sikma led the way for Aito Garcia Reneses’ squad with 17 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds, Peyton Siva added 15 points, while Marcus Eriksson had 11 and Jayson Granger left the court with 10 assists along with 4 points.
Chris Babb tried to save the day for the hosts with a big contribution in crunch time as he left the court with 18 points and Isaiah Philmore had 16 points. Bonn now falls to a 10-16 record.
Earlier this weekend, Bayern slipped its second game straight in the BBL against Giessen, coming off from a historic EuroLeague playoffs qualification on Thursday.
MHP Riesen tops the standings with a 24-2 record, followed by ALBA (22-4) and Bayern (21-6).
