Alba Berlin rolled over Hamburg Towers 85 – 59 in the opener of the German League first-round series between the two teams.
Maodo Lo had 19 points, Simone Fontechio dropped 12 points while Peyton Siva provided 11 points plus eight assists for Alba that entered the game in a furious manner. The “Albatrosses” took a 30 – 18 advantage by the end of the first period and kept dominating their opponents to comfortably get the win.
Hamburg fell back 70 – 49 by the end of the fourth quarter and just managed to reduce that deficit down the stretch.
